PAG has miniaturised its professional camera top light, which can be seen in action on the TV News every night, and produced this ultra-compact 6V light designed especially for use with smaller DV camcorders.


This broadcast quality camera light is cool-running, has a focusable beam angle, and a patented system that makes lamp changing quick and easy. The Paglight C6 is supplied in a complete kit that includes a 6V 7Ah Ni-Cd battery and charger. The battery will run the Paglight C6 with a 20W lamp for two and a quarter hours.



Paglight C6 is designed to complement available light as a camera top 'fill' or 'front- light'. It is ideal for use in subdued light conditions, and in poor daylight. Conversely it can be used to soften the harsh facial shadows caused by bright sunlight. The Paglight C6 will bring your images out of the shadows and add vibrancy to your colour even when used with ultra light sensitive camcorders.

The Paglight C6 is constructed from a tough engineering polymer that provides impact resistance and temperature stability. PAG's patented system of vents and chambers ensures that internal heat is dissipated and the light stays cool during operation.




Paglight C6 provides a soft, even spectral distribution with no hot-spots or flaws. The lamphead is fully-focusable, with a smooth transition from spot to flood. The ability to change the beam angle allows you to compensate for light loss over distance within the same frame size.


The Paglight C6 incorporates many features of the larger professional version. A rotatable accessory ring is fitted to the front of the light that accommodates a range of snap-in accessories. The frosted diffuser is used to soften the harshness of direct light shadows.

The dichroic filter is used to change the colour temperature of the tungsten halogen light output to match daylight. Barndoors are included to flag off unwanted light.



PAG's Softlight Diffuser and Filter Kit (not included) can also be used with the Paglight C6 to create ultra-soft or colour lighting effects. The filter holding assembly fits onto the barndoors of the C6.




The Paglight C6 features a patented plug-in lampholder system that makes fitting a lamp quick and easy. The light is supplied with a lampholder and 20W 6V, G4-size tungsten halogen lamp (10W and 30W lamps are also available).
Additional lampholders enable change between lamps of varying wattages without directly handling the lamp. When not in use, lampholders can be stored in a heat-resistant polymer lamp protector.
