The internal circuits of the V-Mount L95e have been upgraded to enable the battery to provide a percentage display

of available capacity in the viewfinder of certain Sony cameras.

This upgrade applies to all V-Mount L95e batteries manufactured after the 1st June 2009.

The upgrade will not be applied retrospectively to batteries already sold, or to those assembled batteries currently held in stock at PAG Ltd.

During this initial transitional period, if you require this feature, it must be specified when placing the order, to ensure that the correct battery is supplied.

To begin with this feature will only be available with the V-Mount L95e.

IMPORTANT: NEVER ATTEMPT TO CONNECT PAG CHARGE ADAPTOR MODEL 9617 TO
NON-PAG V-MOUNT LITHIUM-ION BATTERIES.

Despite mechanical precautions, PAG has found that it is still possible to force the 9617 Charge Adaptor onto non-PAG V-Mount Lithium-Ion batteries. This action could result in serious damage
to the battery.

This charge adaptor is suitable for charging ONLY PAG L95 V-Mount batteries from suitable PAG chargers. Mechanical interlock prevents connection to non-PAG V-Mount batteries, and the product is clearly labelled 'FOR PAG V-MOUNT BATTERIES'.

However, it has been found that it is possible to override the interlock if enough force is used.

PAG will introduce an updated 9617 Charge Adaptor to prevent this misuse. The new adaptor will be identifiable by a yellow sleeve on the cable. Original 9617 units will be replaced free if required, by returning them to a PAG Agent, or directly to PAG Ltd., London.

Users wishing to charge Sony V-Mount batteries from the PAG AR Series 2 chargers should use Model 9610 Charge Adaptor.
