NON-PAG V-MOUNT LITHIUM-ION BATTERIES.
Despite mechanical precautions, PAG has found that it is still possible to force the 9617 Charge Adaptor onto non-PAG V-Mount Lithium-Ion batteries. This action could result in serious damage
to the battery.
This charge adaptor is suitable for charging ONLY PAG L95 V-Mount batteries from suitable PAG chargers. Mechanical interlock prevents connection to non-PAG V-Mount batteries, and the product is clearly labelled 'FOR PAG V-MOUNT BATTERIES'. |

However, it has been found that it is possible to override the interlock if enough force is used.
PAG will introduce an updated 9617 Charge Adaptor to prevent this misuse. The new adaptor will be identifiable by a yellow sleeve on the cable. Original 9617 units will be replaced free if required, by returning them to a PAG Agent, or directly to PAG Ltd., London.
Users wishing to charge Sony V-Mount batteries from the PAG AR Series 2 chargers should use Model 9610 Charge Adaptor.
