Recelling

Lithium-Ion batteries must never be recelled by the customer or by a third party.

It is a mandatory requirement of Li-Ion batteries to be sealed, in order to maintain the original build-standard. Each original battery design must be tested to UN standard 38.3, to comply with air transport regulations (IATA).

Any attempt to replace the cells in a PAG Li-Ion battery outside the control of PAG Ltd. makes the battery a safety concern and invalidates its air transport credentials. It also invalidates the PAG guarantee.

Expired PAG batteries can be returned by road freight to PAG Ltd. UK, for recycling.
