PAG has been manufacturing professional products designed specifically for the hand-held camcorder market for more than 3 years.
It began in 2002 with the introduction of PAG's miniaturised, professional-quality, on-board camera lights - Paglight M and Paglight C6. PAG then introduced power adaptors that enabled DV camcorders and lights to be powered for greatly extended periods, from professional batteries.
The range of products has now been further developed to include power, lighting and support solutions for the new HDV format camcorders.
PAG has created two systems of power and lighting for hand-helds, in order to provide solutions for the greatest number of users.
12V Power & Lighting System
The 12V system enables the camcorder and the 12V Paglight M to be powered from 12V to 14.8V PAG ENG battery packs or belts, via a DC Adaptor.
PAG's 12V DC Adaptor incorporates one connector suitable for the battery port of your camcorder, and another for the chosen power source (a 2.1mm/PP90 connector for use with the PAGlok connector output port, or an XLR-4 connector for use with Pagbelt IC2 or PAG Powerman batteries). Utilising professional batteries greatly increases the current draw capability and run-time. |

It also provides the flexibility of being able to choose from the entire range of professional PAGlok batteries - from the 50 watt-hour C50 Cobalt to the 95 watt-hour digital Li-Ion L95 Time Battery.
The battery is mounted to a PAGlok connector worn on your trouser belt. Here, it is conveniently situated away from the camcorder controls and does not add to the weight of the camcorder. However, it is possible to mount the PAGlok connector to the rear of certain camcorders, where the battery acts as a counterbalance to the lens.
Paglight M
Paglight M is a miniaturised 12V camera light, designed specifically for hand-helds. It incorporates professional features derived from its larger ENG counterpart, the award-winning, industry-standard Paglight.

These include a patented cool-running design, the ability to focus the beam angle, a glass diffuser, a glass dichroic filter, barn doors, a detachable power base, and a patented plug-in lamp holder system for safe and easy lamp-changing.
The light mounts to the accessory shoe on the camcorder and is powered via the 2.1mm/PP90 output of the PAGlok Connector. Standard or Softstart lampholders - for use with Li-Ion batteries, are available, both utilise 10W, 20W and 35W G4-size bi-pin halogen lamps.

6V Power & Lighting System
PAG's 6V power and lighting system for hand-helds enables the camcorder and the broadcast quality Paglight C6 to be powered from the C6 Battery, via a DC Adaptor. This economical solution is ideal for those who do not already own, or do not wish to invest in 12V ENG batteries and chargers.
The award winning Paglight C6 is the only broadcast quality 6V camera light on the market, and was the first 6V light designed specifically for hand-held camcorders. Its professional features match those of the 12V Paglight M and are unrivalled in the marketplace.
The Paglight C6 Lighting Kit represents incredible value for money as it includes its own 6V 7Ah Ni-Cd battery and charger. The battery, weighing just 1kg, can be worn on a shoulder strap or belt-clip, as required, and provides 2 and a quarter hours continuous run-time with the 20W lamp supplied (10W and 30W lamps are also available).
An additional C6 battery is recommended as it will provide a valuable back-up safeguard and enable you to carry on shooting whilst recharging, providing all-day power.
