UNITED NATIONS CERTIFIED

PAG L95 batteries have been tested by an independent test facility, to comply with UN regulations as required by air transport and civil aviation authorities.

Regulations exist because poorly constructed Li-Ion batteries have been known to break down internally and self-ignite.

Testing is a legal requirement of conformity with the regulations, and it is therefore inadvisable to buy Lithium-Ion batteries that have NOT been tested. You should always ask the manufacturer for a test report number before buying.

To ensure the longest possible cycle life, PAG L95s should be charged with PAG all-chemistry chargers.

Both 2 and 4 channel chargers are available that incorporate compatible battery connectors. It is also possible to charge any L95 via the front PP90 sockets of all-chemistry PAG chargers, using the appropriate charge adaptor.

V-Mount Chargers
The V-Mount compatible L95 battery can be charged using PAG V-Series chargers or suitable Sony chargers.

Prioritise Cycle Life or Capacity
A unique high/low charge facility, within the PAGlok and Snap-on compatible L95s, provides a choice between extended cycle life or high capacity, when charging with PAG all-chemistry chargers.

Low-Cost Chargers
Low-cost, 2-channel chargers are available for the PAG L95 Power Circle Batteries. These are available with either PAGlok or
V-Mount connectors.

	COMBINED CAPACITY
	The capacities of two L95 batteries (PAGlok or V-Mount) can be combined, to provide a higher current draw capability and longer run-times, by using the PAG Power Plate.		This unit is available with a choice of connector, making it compatible with the 3 most popular systems: PAGlok, V-Mount (Sony) and Snap-on (Anton Bauer). The high current-draw capability is ideal for powering high-definition camcorders and a camera light, simultaneously. Using two Li-Ion batteries to share the load and achieve a larger, combined capacity ensures that you do not discharge the battery at an excessive rate.

	LONGER CYCLE LIFE AND 2 YEAR WARRANTY
	The many levels of protection built into the L95 prevent the damaging processes that reduce capacity; this, combined with proprietary charging techniques, ensures a longer battery cycle life.		PAG is able to offer a warranty of 2 years on the L95 as a result of its exemplary performance record. After two years active service the 14.8V 6.5Ah 95Wh battery has shown little reduction in available capacity.

	QUALITY AND SAFETY
	Quality branded cells, such as those utilised by the PAG L95, are a vital prerequisite to the creation of a safe Li-Ion battery. Poor quality cells may develop internal shorts, or their electrolyte may be contaminated, giving rise to other problems. We are disappointed to note that such products are being imported to our market and branded as professional products. PAG has incorporated many safety features within the L95 to ensure that it is one of the safest batteries available, of any cell-chemistry. The battery’s sophisticated electronic protection system will disconnect		the output if the load becomes excessive. Once removed from the load, battery power will be restored. The battery will not accept a charge from unsuitable charging supplies, and is protected from accepting a charge if it is too hot or too cold. The L95s internal circuits are coated with Parylene, the premier conformal coating, to protect circuits against the results of severe mechanical abuse to the cell pack. From a safety viewpoint PAG believes this coating to be an essential additional level of protection, and yet other manufacturers fail to address it.

The cost of switching to a Li-Ion battery system can be significant.
For this reason PAG has introduced the L95 Power Circle Battery, as a high-quality, lower-cost non-digital
Li-Ion option.

The L95 Power Circle Battery is ideal for those who do not require the accuracy of PAG’s Power and Time Display.

The Power Circle is a micro-driven coulometric capacity indicator that displays charge status in terms of percentage. The push-button display uses four segments to indicate the charge status of the battery.

The PAG L95 Power Circle Battery incorporates the same cell-pack, cycle life, build-quality, safety features and warranty as the digital L95 Time Battery, and yet provides significant cost savings.

THE PAG POWER & TIME DISPLAY

One of the major advantages of the digital L95 Time Battery, over Li-Ion batteries of other manufacturers, is the PAG Power & Time Display - the industry’s most accurate built-in capacity indicator.

PAG’s unique display shows remaining camera run-time, on-load,

counting-down in 1 minute increments.

The easy-to-read digital character display also shows available capacity in 1% or 0.1Ah increments, on-load and away from the camera.

The PAG Power & Time Display is far more accurate than other so-called ‘Real-Time’ displays or LED arrays.
It automatically evaluates the battery condition as well as the conditions of use to provide an accurate reading, which is updated against changes in load. PAG is the only manufacturer
to offer this level of accuracy.

	LITHIUM-ION
	Lithium-Ion technology possesses a fantastic power-to-weight ratio. It is for this reason that it is especially well suited to the latest professional broadcast cameras. The PAG L95 utilises advanced Li-Ion cell technology that combines a 95 watt-hour capacity with a weight of only 745g. This means increased run-time for a camera and light up to 35W.		Two L95s will provide enough power for a days shooting with most camera and lighting set-ups. The batteries are also sufficiently compact and light-in-weight to be stowed in your camera bag.
