PAG Intelligent Parallel Charging

This unique PAG charging software incorporates three phases:

Phase 1 - Pre-Charge: prepares shutdown or deeply discharged batteries for charge acceptance.

Phase 2 - Testing: determines the type and state-of-charge of the batteries, and the maximum current that can be safely applied.

Phase 3 - Charging: the charger then shares the current intelligently between the channels, briefly addressing the most deeply discharged batteries first, before simultaneously fully-charging all batteries as quickly and efficiently as possible.

LCD Screen The Cube incorporates a backlit LCD screen which indicates, at all times, the status of each channel. Ideal Location Charger The Cube is the ideal location charger. It is quiet and cool-running. It features a strong, moulded handle that enables you to carry the charger with four batteries connected.

The charger is capable of receiving firmware updates without the need to open the unit, which is both convenient and economic.

Power Supply

The Cube's power supply enables the charger to be powered from any AC power supply, worldwide.

Use the Cube to Power Your Camera via the V4-CPA
The PAG Cube can be used to power your camera from an AC mains supply, with the addition of the PAG V4-CPA Camera Power Adaptor (Model 9701V).


This compact, impact resistant unit can be connected to any channel on the Cube charger. Connection to the camera can be made using a PAG XLR-4 male to female adaptor, coiled lead (Model 9450).

The V4-CPA outputs 16.8V at 5.5A and is suitable for use with modern broadcast cameras which use 14.4V / 14.8V Li-Ion batteries.

The PAG V4-CPA can only be used in conjunction with the PAG Cube or V4-iPC chargers.


Specifications

The PAG Cube is a new, ultra-compact, low-cost, simultaneous fast-charger. It features proprietary Intelligent Parallel Charging software, designed specifically for the safe fast-

charging of V-Mount Li-Ion batteries, of reputable manufacture.

Extended Battery Life

Charging is the most important factor in achieving an extended battery cycle life. PAG L95 batteries are capable of an average of three years active service, without substantial loss of capacity, when protected from abusive charging practices.

V-Mount Compatible
The Cube features four V-Mount compatible battery connectors and can also be used to sequentially fast-charge PAG ZL-Series V-Mount batteries and other V-Mount Ni-MH batteries of reputable manufacture.

Economy

Value for money is at the heart of the Cube's conception. Equivalent chargers from other manufacturers can cost more than three times as much, whilst also adversly affecting battery life.

High-Power

The high-power Cube is capable of supplying 6A at 16.8V, approximately 100W. Charging is fast, efficient and fully-automatic, thanks to PAG's unique Intelligent Parallel Charging software.
