PAG has developed a battery mount, with a built-in DC Adaptor, that extends the run-time of the Canon XL-H1, by enabling the use of 12V to 14.8V professional PAGlok batteries.

The PAGlok Power Adaptor (Model 9522/77) can be fitted to the rear mounting bracket supplied with the camcorder. The assembly is then mounted to the back of the camcorder and connected to the battery port.

The PAGlok connector incorporates a power output port with a PP90 socket, suitable for powering a 12V Paglight M, or other 12V accessories.
