The PAG L96T has a high-quality construction and comprehensive safety features. The battery incorporates long-life, premier-quality Li-Ion cells, which have no memory effect, and are completely recyclable. In keeping with PAG’s total battery design philosophy, it is designed and constructed to provide the longest possible working life.

The PAG L96T Time Battery is so-called because it incorporates a numeric Run-Time and Capacity Display. When you need to know how long your battery will power your camera set-up, two button presses will provide a prediction of remaining run-time, for the given load, expressed in hours and minutes. A single button press, on or off-load, shows remaining capacity as a percentage. The display maintains its accuracy by tracking the performance, and adjusting calibration values to compensate for the ageing of the cells.

The battery is compatible with multiple camera data systems and adapts automatically, to provide capacity information in the viewfinders of various cameras (Sony, Red, etc).

The battery’s advanced electronic protection system is fail-safe and guards against conditions that reduce battery life. It features circuits that are Parylene coated to make them resistant to electrolyte.

The V-Mount PAG L96T can be charged using any reputable V-Mount Li-Ion charger.

The L96T has a 96 watt-hour capacity and a maximum continuous output of 8A. The capacities of two batteries can be combined (192Wh) for longer run-time and a higher current-draw capability of up to 10A, using a PAG Power Plate dual battery mount.

The L96T has been independently tested in accordance with UN standards and certified to comply with air transport safety regulations. Its capacity is below 100 watt-hours and it is therefore suitable for air transport on passenger aircraft, in hand-luggage, without quantity restriction.

Run-Time & Capacity Display: Numeric display that shows a run-time prediction on-load, expressed in hours and minutes, to a resolution of 1 minute. Capacity/state of charge is displayed as a percentage, in 1% increments.

Construction: High-impact polycarbonate injection mouldings designed to protect the cells from impact damage. The cells have welded interconnections of low-resistance nickel strap. Batteries are sealed and non user-serviceable.

The battery incorporates the following safety shutdown systems:

All protection circuits within the battery are designed to withstand the leakage of electrolyte. This is achieved by using a special layout and a coating of Parylene, the premier vapour-deposited conformal coating.
