The PAGlink Cube is a robust and compact location charger. It is designed for charging V-Mount Li-Ion batteries such as the new PAG L90 Slim, the PAG L96 Series and PAGlink batteries, of any capacity, individually or linked, and in any state of charge. Up to 16 PAGlink batteries can be charged simultaneously (4 linked batteries per channel).

Linked charging means no more midnight battery swapping. At the end of a shoot, simply link your batteries and connect them to the charger. The next day, they will be fully charged and ready to go.

The charging process is managed automatically by the PAGlink batteries and the Cube’s Intelligent Parallel Charging software.

During charging, the percentage state-of-charge of each PAGlink battery is indicated on its individual display. The most-discharged batteries are given a higher charge priority. Fully charged batteries will stop accepting charge automatically and independently.

The PAGlink Cube can also be used to charge simultaneously Sony Li-Ion batteries, or to charge sequentially the previous generation of PAG Li-Ion batteries.

The stages of the charging process for each channel are clearly indicated on the unit’s large backlit LCD screen.

Using a PAG charger to charge and manage your PAG batteries is the best way to achieve the maximum number of cycles and the longest possible working life.

The PAGlink Cube is quiet and cool-running. It features a retractable handle to maintain its compact dimensions for transportation.

A recovery feature is included, to recover Li-Ion batteries if their cut-out has been tripped.

The high-power PAGlink Cube can be used to power your camera from any AC supply worldwide, with the addition of the PAG Camera Power Adaptor Model 9701V. The battery-sized Camera Power Adaptor can be connected to any channel on the charger and used to power any modern broadcast camera via its XLR4 output. The charger is capable of supplying 6A at 16.8V, which is approximately 100W.

PAG ZL-125 Model 9317V
PAG ZL-50 Model 9315V
Sony V-Mount Ni-MH

Battery Connectors: 4 x V-Mount.

Main Charge Program: Li-Ion Intelligent Parallel Charging program. Maximum output 6A at 16.8V (100W approx.).

PAGlink Charging:
The PAGlink system allows up to eight batteries to be linked in one stack for charging. However, PAG recommends that no more than four linked batteries are connected to each charging position of the PAGlink Cube, allowing up to 16 batteries to be charged simultaneously; this is to ensure that the charger’s V-Mount connectors are not mechanically overloaded. Batteries can be in any state of charge. The most-discharged batteries will be given a higher charge priority. Fully charged batteries stop accepting charge automatically and independently of other batteries.

Recovery Charge Program:
This special program will automatically recover a Li-Ion battery where the output has been shut down. Additionally, the program detects batteries having a very low voltage, and initiates a special low charge current. The program will operate until the voltage has risen sufficiently for batteries to safely accept the normal charge current.

Self Test Program:
The micro-processor constantly monitors the battery under charge or process as well as the operation of the charger’s own functions which will be shut down to a safe condition should any of the tests fail.

Mains Input:
90V to 265V AC. Frequency 50-60 Hz. EN6100-3-2 Power factor corrected. Maximum consumption 140W.

Output Protection:
The charger is protected against short circuit and excess battery voltage.

AC Mains Failure Protection:
Should mains failure occur during a charging program, or whilst the charger is connected, it will shut down to a safe condition.

User Interface:
The charge status of each PAGlink battery is indicated by its own display.
The different stages of the charging process are indicated for each channel on the charger’s LCD screen. The charger is fully automatic in operation and no user controls are provided.

Designed to comply with electrical safety standard BS EN 60065 and UL6500. NOTE: U.K. mains leads are fitted with a 1" fuse to BS1362 rated 5A as standard.

European Union Directives:
Complies with the following EU Directives:
EMC Directive 89/336/EU.
Low Voltage Directive 73/23/EU.

Operating Temperature Range: 0ºC to +40ºC (+32ºF to +104ºF).

Height: 157mm (6.2”).
Width: 157mm (6.2”).
Depth: 157mm (6.2”).

Weight: 1.19kg (2.6lbs).

Typical Battery Charging Times:
Charge times will vary depending on the condition and state-of-charge of the batteries. Typically, 8 fully-discharged 96Wh PAGlink batteries (2 on each position) will be fully-charged in approximately 10 hours. These times are approximate only, and assume batteries are fully discharged. Charging times will be less if batteries are already partially charged.

Camera Power Supply: Requires PAG Camera Power Adaptor Model 9701V.
